Blue Angels Markings

We developed these markings for the Hobby-Lobby F/A-18 Blue Angels. These are the full markings needed to complete the Blue Angels paint scheme. The yellow markings are cut vinyl and the Blue Angels Crests are water-slide decals with a white background.

Included with the markings set is a printed instruction sheet that explains how to apply these markings and where to place them on the model.

The water-slide decals are NOT Compatible with most clear epoxies acrylic enamels, dope or lacquer finishes.

You shouldn't need to use a clear coat over the decals. If you do decide to clear coat them, use only Testors #1959 Clear Satin, #2016 Semi Gloss, #1160, #1260, #1960, #2015 Dullcote or #1161, #1261, #1961, #2017 Glosscote to seal these decals.

Russian Knights Decals

We developed these markings for the original prototype Flanker. These are the complete markings needed to complete the Russian Knights paint scheme. Transparent background.

Compatible with most clear epoxies acrylic enamels including Testors #1959 Clear Satin, #2016 Semi Gloss, #1160, #1260, #1960, #2015 Dullcote or #1161, #1261, #1961, #2017 Glosscote.

These decals are NOT compatible with clear dope and most clear laquers.

*Laser-Cut Wood Sub-Kit

There are 275 laser cut pieces that comprise the airframe, cockpit hatch, battery compartment hatch, both fan hatches, retract mounts, servo mounts, fan mounts, removable battery tray and all construction and assembly jigs. All of the parts needed for construction and assembly are here. All laser cut balsa parts are of contest grade.

*Molded Fiberglass & Plastic Sub-Kit
Out of Production

You get a molded fiberglass nose cone, two one-piece inlet ducts and tailcones and a vacuum formed clear canopy.

*Metal Parts Sub-Kit

Elevon pivots including the aluminum tubes, 3/16" rod, 1/16" cross piece and 3/16" wheel collars and 12 magnets for the cockpit and battery compartment hatch hold-downs.
